'Patient Access' instructions

 

You can order a prescription in the following ways:

By registering for our on-line Patient Access service. (Patient Access information sheet for further information.)

On line repeat prescription ordering available through Patient Access.

In person at either surgery

  • By post, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope

  • By taking your prescription counterfoil, with the items you require ticked, to; a nominated pharmacy

  • We regret that no prescription requests can be taken over the telephone

Please allow two working days to process repeat prescription requests. (Note: No processing can be done on Bank holidays and weekends as we are closed)

Following a telephone consultation with a doctor and a prescription is issued we encourage you to come into the practice to collect this.  If you are unable to do this you may contact your local chemist to arrange collection.

 

 
 
 

If you need a repeat prescription, post or hand your repeat prescription order form into Reception at least 2 working days before collection. Don’t forget to make allowances for weekends and Bank Holidays.

Please indicate clearly the items that you require.

Following a telephone consultation with a doctor a prescription may be issued. We encourage you to come into the practice to collect the prescription, if you are unable to do this, you may contact your local chemist to arrange collection.

Prescription costs

Prescription prepayment certificates (PPC) are available in England and they can save you money.

The current prescription charge is £8.60.
